Domino Magazine is Back!
Domino magazine is back and I’m so excited! For those who don’t know, Domino has a history of being one of the absolute best interior decor shelter magazines. The company closed its doors back in 2009 , to the dismay of many design enthusiasts. But they’ve had a recent resurgence and released the first of many new issues – Holiday 2013.
I pretty much devoured this issue in one sitting, but I love the fact that Domino gives you inspiration to refer to time and time again. It never gets old!
One feature that blew my mind in this holiday issue is Nate Berkus‘ and Jeremiah Brent‘s design of Rita Hazan‘s NYC apartment. Man, this space is so good! It’s neutral living done very well. And I was thrilled to see Nate use many of the pieces from his Target line and to see some unreleased pieces, like those fabulous wall studs in Rita’s dressing room.
Each room is very inspiring, but I was most taken by Rita’s shoe display. I love how they’re displayed front and center, not hidden behind the doors of a closet.
Well done Mr. Berkus & Mr. Brent. Well done.
