One Room Challenge: Week 4

Design-BoardProgress is being made in the living /dining room area that I’m making over for this round of the One Room Challenge. You can check out the previous weeks’ posts below.

The DIY projects certainly abound with this one. Here’s the short list of projects in the works:

  • Pelmet boxes for dining room windows
  • Linen drapes
  • Radiator cover
  • Pillow covers
  • Built-in TV cabinet
  • Artwork
  • Refinish bookshelves

Not to mention I spontaneously ordered a custom chandelier for the dining room last week. Here’s the thing, though. It has about a 3-4 week lead time, so I’m crossing my fingers that it will make it here in time for the big reveal.

I’m feeling really overwhelmed with the whole project and a bit over it right now, but I’m so excited to get this space finished.  Linda summed it up perfectly in her post yesterday.

It is the real burnout week, the one where you are not sure you will make it….and at the moment, don’t care….until you read all the other posts…then find the motivation to push on.

I could use all the motivation I can get right about now!  Check out all the other week 4 posts here.
