Photo A Day: Week 9
I know these photos are all looooong overdue, but the dust has finally settled around here and I’ve had some time to myself to sort through the pictures I’ve taken. Last week was definitely a blur, but we all had a blast, especially the birthday girl.
I’m not exactly sure why this picture was taken……No clue.
Monday evening was spent baking these birthday cupcakes for my daughter’s class. My favorite Ballerina turned 5 last week. I can’t believe how quickly she’s growing!
She was awakened with gifts of glass slippers and fairy wings….
And even more toys were added to the massive amount she already has.
A few things I ordered online came in the mail, so I was kinda feeling like it was my birthday, too. I bought shea butter, cocoa butter, black castor oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, almond oil, and avocado oil. Some of these are new to me and I plan to experiment with them. The others I use to make hair and body butters.
The next time I think I can drink a cup of coffee at 9pm on a Friday night and expect to go to bed at a decent hour, somebody please shake some sense into me. I was awake until 2am surfing the internet on my phone, even though we had a big day the next day. (This pic was taken the next morning while I was still in a fog of sleep deprivation.)
And a big day it was, indeed. The Little Ballerina had a ‘Royal Sleepover’ (with full princess regalia for all) filled with tons of giggles and shrieks of excitement. My nephews crashed the all-girls event for a little while, and this one was hamming it up for the camera.
