ORGANIZATION 101: Office Spaces

|

My life runs so much better when I’m organized. My thought processes are clearer, productivity is through the roof, and plain & simply put, I just get stuff done. Unfortunately, though, my life hasn’t been in such a euphoric state of organization since my days of undergrad.  Admittedly, I tended to be very obsessive about keeping my life organized then, which is not realistically sustainable or advisable for my mental health. But I’m certain a happy medium does exist. Though I’m still on the quest of nailing down that happy medium for myself, I do know that step one to creating an aura of organized bliss for myself is making sure I’m surrounded by pretty things….because….you know….I can be superficial like that.
Here’s a roundup of my essential organization pretties for an office space

Organization-101--Offices
And by the way, I don’t necessarily believe that offices have to be full rooms dedicated to work. Though, this type of environment works best for most people, it’s possible to have a quiet, productive area for yourself that does not have it’s own four walls. In my case, we have an office area on our lower level (read: basement), but since it’s not pretty yet, my husband is the only one who really works down there. I currently work from a little desk/vanity set-up I created in our bedroom (when I’m not working from the comfort of my bed eating bon-bons, of course).

Here’s some examples of unconventional office spaces that are really inspiring to me.
