Support the Arts: Omie Trouvere’s Debut Album

Hola!  I wanted to take a minute to introduce you all to a very talented young man with a gift for song-writing and singing.  His name is Omie Trouvere, and he is excited to launch his long-awaited debut album, Connect the Dots.

The album is being launched independently, which requires a lot of foot-work and personal funding from the artist.  Omie has begun an online funding campaign through Kickstarter to garner the funds in order to professionally mix and master the album.

It would mean a great deal to him (and me) if you all could show your support for the arts by pledging to help fund the album.  Donations in any dollar amount are greatly appreciated – $1, $10, $20, $1,000 – and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting a true artist whose focus is the love of music, not money. 

In Omie Trouvere’s own words:

“The 12 tracks of this album reflect a range of musical influences with hints of rock, folk, soul and even musical theater evident throughout. Its lyrics tell a story of self discovery, fear, wonder, discouragement, determination: everything that folk like you and me experience when finding and following our passions and dreams. The album features some great live instrumentation, honest lyricism and the best my voice has to offer.”
