{Loving} Home Decorators Collection
I stopped by the Home Decorators here in NJ recently and was pretty impressed with what they have to offer. I’ve been to their website numerous times and even bought a rug from them, but I always forget there’s a brick & mortar store not too far away. I’m not sure how long this store has been open, but this was probably the third time I’ve been. It’s great to be able to see and feel some of the items that are available online. Here’s a tour of the things that caught my eye. (All photos taken with my iPhone)
I obviously have a thing for tufting. The two sofas on the right were the front runners for me. The Gordon Tufted Loveseat (top right) is beautiful in person, and the poly-cotton velvet material is so plush & rich – much better than some of the other upholstered velvet items they had on display. The Riemann Curved Tufted Sectional (bottom right) is so gorgeous in person. The online photos do this baby no justice! It’s definitely a statement piece perfect for a large room. And it’s currently on sale, so I’d suggest anyone in the market should snatch it up.

I didn’t have enough time to look through the rugs and other furniture, but I’ll be sure to check them out on my next trip. It’s great to be able to feel the items to see if the quality really warrants the price, to get a first-hand view of the fabric options available, etc., so I would highly recommend you stopping by if you have one in your area.

Thank you for writing a review of the home decorators furniture offerings. I particularly like the Reimann curved tufted sectional sofa. I like the gray color. But the home decorators website displays the gray as a warm gray. Your website shows that same sofa in a gray that looks like a cool Gray.
Could you verify for me that the color of the upholstery is more of a cool gray versus a warm gray?

Hi Connie! The sofa I photographed was actually the Blue Mist color. Due to the poor lighting & using the phone on my camera, the color is definitely still a bit off from what is on the HD site, but it isn’t the gray one. I hope this helps!
