Hi There!

I’ve been gone for a while and the break from this blog certainly was refreshing.  Not that I don’t enjoy my little slice of the web here, but the break really allowed me to reconsider why I do this and how it all fits into my bigger picture.

After some much needed soul searching (it really wasn’t that deep), I’ve decided to keep The Kim Collective alive. My vision for it is now more of a “getting to know you” space, or a journal.  It’s a place to capture behind-the-scenes moments of my burgeoning design career and an outlet for my creative juices.  TKC was starting to feel like something I HAD to do or something that felt laborious. And as soon as that happens, my brain screams, “ABORT! ABORT!”  But I didn’t want to just throw in the towel.  I needed to reconnect with what encouraged me to start this blog in the first place.  Now, I’ve done just that!  The Kim Collective is my way to share the things I love in hopes of inspiring you too!
