Photo A Day: Week 2
So it’s week 2 in this crazy project I decided to undertake for 2013. I must admit, it’s been extremely hard this week for some reason. Maybe it’s because I’ve had a million other distractions. Or maybe it’s because I don’t really have a functional camera bag to carry. Realistically, it’s hard to carry a bulky camera and a humongous purse. Since the huge bag stays (this week it’s a Rebecca Minkoff MAB), I might need to get creative on how I can possibly carry my camera inside my purse, but really that seems like it might cause more problems than I care to take on. Decisions, decisions….
Anyway, onto the show!
1/6/13: I kicked the week off on my way to church Sunday morning, as usual.
1/7/13: This is one of the many plants I have around the house, and next to my Fiddle Leaf Fig tree, I think it’s one of my favorites. It’s called a Zamioculcas zamiifolia , or ZZ Plant for short.
1/8/13: Trying out some of Pioneer Woman’s Photoshop Actions. I think this one is Old West. It makes my life full of kids’ toys look a bit more glamorous, I think.
1/9/13: Caramelized onion and spinach quiche for dinner. It turned out pretty good. I made some changes to this recipe, but it came together pretty easily and, along with a salad, made for a quick weeknight dinner.
1/10/13: It was unseasonably warm here this week and quite sunny. Taking advantage of the nice weather, and heading outside with my son a.k.a. the little Bruiser.
1/11/13: Took some pictures for an upcoming tutorial on DIY Laundry Detergent. That’s the fabric I mentioned last week.
1/12/13: Playing with the EV settings on my camera. Please excuse the non-staged, messy living room. I think I may have actually mastered (and I use the term loosely) something on this DSLR!
