{Color Cues} Benjamin Moore – Dragonfly
It’s no secret that I love color, but did you also know that I love paint? I most certainly do. I love color, paint, fabric, sunshine, rainbows, unicorns, etc. If I could just bask in those things all day, I would. But alas, this is the real world and I don’t make a living playing with color, paint, and fabric (yet!). However, whenever a color catches my eye, I make it my business to hunt it down to see how it looks when used in real world settings.
Dragonfly by Benjamin Moore has been a color on my long list of loves for quite some time. It’s the perfect punch of color, but it doesn’t read as bright as you think it might. Here are some places where Dragonfly is used beautifully.
Originally, I planned to use this color on the back of my living room built-ins, but then I began entertaining the idea of using a graphic wallpaper (pattern still to be determined). I’m almost sold on the idea of the wallpaper, but these images have me second guessing that choice!
