Design Crush: Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson is the bomb.com! There, I said it. I’ve felt this way for years and have NEVER not liked a space she designed. Last weekend, I watched a marathon of Sarah’s House on HGTV, and once again, I was reminded of how awesome she is.

Even though some of her spaces may not be my cup of tea, I’m always left feeling inspired. She may combine fabrics that I never thought would work. Or she makes something unexpected seem like a necessary detail in a room.

Her designs are not always risky or bold, but they always convey a sense of livable chic. And I don’t know about you, but that’s exactly the kind of space I want to luxuriate in (or sleep in, or do laundry in, or change diapers in…).

Anyone interested in pretty spaces, please take note. Sarah Richardson is a genius.
