Iced Coffee Recipes
It’s no secret that I love coffee. It’s not even for the caffeine boost, though I’m certainly not complaining about that. Whether it’s caffeinated or not, I just love the morning ritual of having a hot, creamy cup to start my day.
Now that it’s summertime, though, having some coffee over ice is just what I love to cool down on a sweltering day. Here are my 2 favorite recipes (if I’m not just ordering them from Starbucks):
ICED AMERICANO
In a tall glass filled with ice, brew 2-3 shots of espresso.
Add a splash of cream
Top it off with cold water and enjoy!
I have a Nespresso coffee & espresso maker but if you don’t, here’s a great recipe for a stovetop americano

COLD BREW
2/3c coffee grounds
3-4c filtered water
Using a French press, allow the water and grounds to soak overnight (or up to 12 hours).
Once ready, press gently to strain the coffee grounds from the water
For further straining, I like to then pour the coffee into a bowl with a sieve lined with a coffee filter or paper towel to remove any small particles.
Pour your cold brew into a jar and Refrigerate for 7-10 days
To use: some recommend diluting this with equal parts water/milk but I like my code strong so I prefer not to dilute with water at all. I pour over ice, add a splash of cream and enjoy.
Sweetener for both recipes is, of course, optional!
